dakota bhriel de vega,
nineteen , milan university , kristen stewart.
first of all , i'm curious as to when you were born and where. how old does that make you today ?i was born on september fifteenth, and it was very, very unexpected. apparently my mother was one of those women you see on discovery health specials who was unaware that she was even pregnant. she went to the emergeny room for insane cramps, and as it turns out she was in labor with me. my parents weren't very upset though. my mom was mostly just mad that she missed out on the joy of pregnancy. i just celebrated my nineteenth birthday, although i don't feel any different than i did at eighteen. but usually people don't, so it's all good.
whats your status here , exactly. can you tell us what you do for a living ?i'm currently a rising sophomore at the milan university. you see, i've always been very intrigued by design. not fashion, no. but interior and exterior. which is why i'm studying to become an architect. my mother wasn't very happy with that - she wants all of her daughters to be as famous as herself - but she still decided that if i was going to do something, i might as well committ to it in the greatest way. so she allowed me to attend a school here in italy, a country with some of the most incredible architecture in the world. there's one condition, though. i have to promise to design and build her a summer home in venice upon my graduation. i'm actually looking forward to it.
and your parents , who are they and what do they like ?i don't really have a strong relationship with my parents. my father, geoff indigo, is the heir to a large oil fortune in alaska. i think he's in his fifties or something ; i'm not sure. i haven't talked to him in years. my mother is a pretty well known actress. her name is donna de vega, so you might've heard of her. right now she's about forty and lives in los angeles. neither of my parents were around growing up, and i kind of had to look after my sisters. even though i was second to the youngest. i grew up in long beach, california. however, my father was almost always up in alaska and my mother traveled a lot to shoot movies. they divorced about four years ago, and it really wasn't that big of a deal. we all saw it coming; they never acted like a couple anyway.
so what about siblings , are there any other important family members ?i have three sisters; two older, one younger. my eldest sister is demetria, and she's twenty three. demetria is probably the biggest drama queen in the house- she definitley took after our mother. her dream was to be an actress as well, so she didn't even go to high school. right now she's in los angeles with my mom, but she's not exactly a list. she had a small role in a movie that went straight to dvd. ugh, she needs to get over herself. the sister that i'm closest to is danica, and she's only twenty one. danica is actually here in milan studying fashion design. we've always been like best friends, because we get along so well. my youger sister deliliah is only fifteen, but lives in manhattan so she can go to a dance academy. i'm definitley the mother figure in her life- she talks to me about everything.
i see , now could you tell me your favorite and least favorite things ?likes ; inspiration, traveling, sketching, photography, architectures, meeting new people, experiences, good food, jeans, sweats, intelligent conversations, drinking, sarcasm, thunderstorms, and smoking.
dislikes ; bitches, drama, holidays, my parents, awkward situations, boredom, always being around someone, talking on the phone, big parties, heels, hair products, humidity, backstabbers, liars, and cheaters.
so what about relationships , how do you find those ?if you had asked me this last year, i would've said that i love long, committed relationships. but definitley not anymore. i've realized that boys are pain and drama - and i just don't want to deal with it. so now i'm all for just casual flirting and one night stands. nothing serious is my number one rule.
we've asked about family , significant others , but what about a pet ?i don't have any sort of pet.
last but not least - your best kept secret , what is it exactly ?ugh. okay. well, i used to date this guy for a loooong time a while back. we were best friends, and i really really loved him. after nine months of dating, i ended up pregnant. i freaked out and he ditched me. and that's that. but my biggest secret is that... i didn't keep the baby. i had an abortion. i regret it so much, and i think that if maybe he had been there for me, i might not have felt so helpless. it's my greatest regret. i don't tell anybody though, because abortion is a sticky subject. i'm ashamed of myself for doing it, and i'm scared that i'll be lose the people i'm close to if they ever found out.

these were the days that made nathan hate his job. the days that made him want to single handedly build a time machine, go back to 2005, and completely change the course of his life. the days when he severely wished that he had decided to become an architect, or a firefighter, or even a zookeeper. anything but an actor. not that he'd have to endure many more of these days- by the looks of it, he honestly thought these girls were going to trample him to death here and now. thank god. don't get me wrong though, nathan rarely ever cursed his career. or the fans, for that matter. without them he wouldn't be anyone. he'd still be bumming it in los angeles, practically getting on his knees at every pathetic audition to beg for a chance. he just wondered if they had to be this crazy. couldn't they show a little sympathy? all he wanted to do was get some damn seafood. but that's much easier said than done. because as he tried to manuever the streets of sydney to reach his destination, it's like they all wanted a peice of him. he tried to keep a smile on his face so he wouldn't look standoffish, and attempted to sign whatever was flashed in front of him. he doubted it actually turned out like his signature, it was probably all a bunch of scribbles. in fact, on a few sheets he just put a line. later he'd feel bad about it, but not right now. he instantly regretted not bringing along ian, his body guard. it was just that he liked being able to do things on his own. not that ian wasn't a great guy, he was. very funny. but nathan hated feeling dependent on anyone, so he usually told him to take the day off. bad idea.
not only did it suck to be groped and trampled, but he felt like his ears were going to explode. from all different directions there was shrieking and yelling. most people called out nathan, while a few others shouted "declan! look here! declan!" declan was the name of the character he played on the cw television series 'bondi beach', which featured a bunch of priveledged rich kids doing whatever the fuck they wanted with no sort of authority or budget. the show was a dream world for him, which was why he loved starring in it so much. even though things had been pretty awkward lately, seeing as his love interest on the show basically wished he would burn in hell. but it was his own fault, he supposed. he should've been more careful about how things came off to the paparazzi. it kind of sucked not to have any privacy anymore, but it was a small price to pay. and it's not like he wasn't aware of what he was getting into. his dad, sebastian beaumont, had experienced the same thing back in the day. and it had been hard on him, and on his family. but he did it with a smile on his face, and that was something that nathan would always greatly admire. because right now, he just wanted to shout at everyone to leave him the hell alone. he was getting a headache.
but then, at last, there it was! his escape. his safety. rockpool, a restaurant which he was very familiar with. as they were with him. him and the management there had come to an understanding over the past few months. they basically didn't tolerate screaming fans. simple as that. so when the building came into view, nathan picked up his pace instantly. he was almost running. he sighed a heavy sigh of relief once he reached the doors, throwing himself against it and practically falling inside. the crowded room looked up at him when they heard the noise, and he tried to smile, embarrassed beyond belief. "uhh sorry." he managed to say awkwardly as his blue eyes looked around in search of a table. "are you going to be dining alone today, sir?" the hostess said, smiling up at him. she took him by surprise, because he hadn't noticed her standing there. "oh um.. yeah. i am." she gave him a weird look, probably wondering why he was so socially inept. or why he was wearing sunglasses inside. go figure. "right this way," she said over her shoulder, leading him to a small table towards the back window. "your waiter will be here soon." she placed a menu in front of him as he took his seat, lingering a moment before leaving. it looked like she wanted to say something, but changed her mind. he could only guess what she had wanted to ask.
once he was finally situated and had chosen what he was going to order, nathan removed his sunglasses and tucked them into his jean pocket. his eyes floated up from the menu and locked with another greenish blue pair, sitting alone at a table across from him. he wondered why she was alone, surely she had a date joining her. she was obviously pretty. maybe he was in the bathroom. nathan flashed her a smile before breaking the contact and looking around the rest of the room. he suddenly felt very self conscious. he probably looked like such a loser sitting here by himself.
