syrus venedict wasn't ready for today at all. ugh, he had to make a good impression on kiennas dad. he did like kienna very much, and he did care about her very much. he had been dating her for like 6 good solid months now. now her father wanted to meet him, so it was just all..annoying as hell. they had spent most of the morning shopping together and he was exhausted. how did this girl shop so damn much? he was stuck carrying her bags and all of that shit. they had went in multiple stores, and she had tried on a lot of dresses. he thought they all looked divine on her,of course she never agreed. he didn't get it..what was with girls these days and their appearance problems. kienna was absolutely perfect in his eyes. the british bloke walked inside the house behind her, setting the bags down and closing and locking the door behind himself. smiling as he set the bags down he walked up behind kienna who seemed anxious to get ready and wrapped his arms around her small and petite body. whispering in her ear, " lets get ready later..lets have some fun before he comes?" he teased, simply kidding with her. he knew how important today was for her, so he promised he'd be on his best behavior. the last dad he had ever met was in london, his girlfriend at the time was stassi. a fierce red head, bad girl behind it all, good girl when her parents were around. he had basically said the wrong thing, and then the dad got on his case about it, and he started to act defensive, and called him out. and ended up with a black eye, and she had broke it off with him. it sort of sucked. he wasn't a fling sort of guy, in fact he hated girls who had no respect for themselves.
he was sent to move here in milan when he was entering his junior year in high school. his mom had had enough of him. he was a bad boy in london, his partying, drinking, fighting, the violence. he had gotten himself in a lot of fights because he just didnt give a damn. he had gotten involved with drugs back there too..and he was temperamental. however, now ever since he moved here with his no good cheating dad. the whole reason his dad and his mom split was because his dad couldnt keep it in his pants. he had no respect for his father at all. he was never good with parents, his got on his own nerves as well. anyhow, ever since he moved here with his cheating dad, his grades have became a lot better. he hated seeing his fathers face and would make any excuse not too. so he would study a lot at school after school, and then he tried out for sports. soccer was his life, he never thought he could ever be passionate about anything until he made the team. he was the shining star, most definitely.
ever since he had injured his leg..well..he didn't. he flew back to london to visit his mom and ran into some old trouble. he ended up being shot in his leg. he healed up, though. the shot wasn't to bad. however, he could not go pro at the time. because while he was recovering all his chances were passing him by.who knew his past would ever control his future. now instead of playing pro like he knew he could do, he was coaching for younger men. not exactly the life he wanted for himself,..but things just happened. he didnt like thinking about it to much because when he did he just felt like an epic failure. he kissed the side of kienna's neck, unwrapping his arms from around her. a small smile slipped on his face as he walked in front of her, taking his hands in hers. " cant he just come over..tomorrow." he teased her.
clearing his throat he let go of his hands. " so what dress are you going to wear, hun? and tell me some more about your dad. " he told her. he really did care about kienna, so what made her happy made him happy. he wanted more than anything to prove that to her. so this was his perfect chance, he had to make the perfect impression on her father. he wasnt a 'suit' type of person to begin with. he wasnt super rich, he was upper middle classed if anything. so he just hoped he didnt go all 'he's not good enough for you' on kienna, because he didnt think social statuses mattered when it came to relationships. he had dated rich girls, poor girls..it all just varied. he crossed his arms across his chest as he waited for her to speak. he was very nervous about this, and he hardly got nervous about anything. so now he was only hoping he'd make a good impression on the guy. the guy owned hotels, but he didnt like to talk about work? that was great...no..not really. now he just needed to know what else the guy liked to talk about and all. he had bought himself a suit just for this occasion, it cost a hell of a lot of money, so this little dinner should definitely be worth it. he never was one for impressing peoples fathers,..but you had to start somewhere, right?
