- - - Blaise had only ever once been in love. he didn’t really admit it to anyone, because he was kind of ashamed of it. he wasn’t the type of person to fall in love – it just wasn’t part of his personality, of his character. the girl in question had been called kennedy devonne ryan. she was a blonde, tall girl of his age, and they had dated for about a year. it had been after this year that blaise had realised he was falling – or should i say, had fallen, - in love with her. she had changed his ways, stopped him from being a womanizer as he had been previously. but of course, fairytales never have a happy ending, right ? it wasn’t long after blaise had realised he loved the girl, had she ran off – without a word of mouth to blaise. left with no reasoning, and to ponder all the reasons why their relationship had suddenly gone downhill, blaise wasted no time in getting back into the pants of previous girlfriends, using this as his way of getting over things. in all honesty, however, blaise had never truly gotten over her. he always had that dreary, dull pain whenever he thought about her, or whenever he found himself in the arms of another person. she was always there, in the back of his mind. until he saw her again, and demanded a reason out of her, she would always be there, and blaise was going to have to live with it. he didn’t like it, but he knew he had no choice. he was hung up over the petite, pretty blonde, and for some unknown reason, he just couldn’t seem to get on with his life after her. time after time, girl after girl, his mind always traced back to her. sometimes, when he was just on his own, thoughts of her just entered his mind unexpectedly. her face in his mind … her bright, cheery laugh whenever he amused her. and her gorgeous, amber eyes staring back into his own chocolate ones. he loved everything about her, even when she was gone.
- - - Blaise would always remember the day he’d met the blonde, unbeknownst to the both of them that they would soon end up in a relationship. he’d been shopping for a few essentials and when he’d left the shop, he’d carelessly bumped into her. upon seeing it was a young lady he’d thrown himself at, he stopped immediately and apologised for leaving her flushed. her blonde locks were curled down her shoulders to just above waist length, and her amber eyes had stared at him, meeting his own chocolate brown ones as he apologised for his carelessness. his eyes had ran over her face, taking in the perfectly structured facial shape and almost immediately feeling attracted to her. he could tell, however, that she wasn’t like the others. she looked shy, dressed down in clothes that didn’t hug her figure, which blaise always liked. the embarrassment of bumping into someone, let alone a guy, had obviously gotten to her, as a red tint flushed prominently through her cheeks. he’d decided he was interested but instead of flirting like he would normally do, he began talking to her, getting to know her. before he knew it, he was genuinely interested in her life and how she did things. they had swapped numbers and from them on, blaise spencer and kennedy ryan had been inseperable. at the still young age of seventeen & sixteen respectively, blaise took his time with kennedy, made sure he did everything the way she wanted. and on the night of their ‘one year anniversary’ they spent a magical night together. blaise took kennedy’s virtue and as he did, he fell in love. three months after that, the girl he thought he was going to marry, and had actually been planning to ask once his twentieth birthday rolled around, was gone. and she had taken his heart with him. from then, everything he did involving girls was done on autopilot – like he didn’t realise what he was doing. kennedy had immobilised him in that one time period, and he didn’t know how long he’d be stuck there. would she ever return ? - - - And yet, almost two years later, blaise had found himself getting ready to meet that girl. he didn’t know why he’d said yes, but she had returned, and brought along a bonus – that bonus being their daughter, shiloh mercedes ryan. blaise was excited to meet her and see who she resembled most. whether she had her mothers gorgeous blonde locks or his own chocolate brown eyes, blaise knew shiloh would be gorgeous. and one of the most loved babies you’ll ever know, because blaise was determined to be in her life from here onwards. he’d missed the first year of her life, he damn well wasn’t going to miss anymore. pulling on his clothes for the day, blaise had another quick check in the mirror to check he looked alright. after all, it wasn’t just shiloh he was meeting for the first time – no, it was kennedy, too. and he knew that, on sight, he’d fall back in love with her again. he wanted to look good when he did it. happy with his appearance, blaise grabbed his car keys and phone, before closing the door to his small residence house behind him, as he left. once in, his car started up with a soft, purring sound as he backed onto the road and towards one of santa monica’s many parks, the one he’d arranged to meet kennedy and shiloh at. he arrived a mere fifteen minutes later and parked up his car safely. stepping out, he looked around but couldn’t see any sigh of kennedy’s distinctive blonde curls, so he continued walking. satisfied he’d cleared the park without a sign of her, he took a seat on a rough wooden bench surrounded by a patch of fresh smelling flowers, and waited.
