<sup>yaaaaay five-hundred-days-of-summer ftw! only here's the thing. i haven't seen that movie yet. you're welcome for a plot that was not taken from a hollywood production! okay. obviously, this character is going to be played by joseph gordon-levitt, aka the little boy from 3rd rock from the sun. oh... the nineties. good times. anyway. i had a little flash of an idea the other day, and here's what i'm thankin'. so, this character, who i'll just call joseph for simplicity's sake, is hypothetically... a total "momma's boy" type. yeah, he's really sweet, and really smart, and really good at.. whatever he does. you can choose that (but i certainly won't complain if he's a man-dancer. i realize that this hope is unlikely, yes. but i'm just puttin' it out there). but he's pretty much spent his whole life listening to exactly what his parents say, what they believe, etc. soj, who is rather independent and certainly strong-willed, is shocked to find this out about joseph, who she's been friends with for a while (that's plan a! plan b, however, is that they just meet, and become friends over time. actually.. i think i prefer plan b. but ultimately it's up to you because i won't mind either way). she tries to get him to break out of that a little bit, and explore what he really believes, etc. aka, threads with insane amounts of dialogue, since i need to work on that anyway. yay! anyway. as they get closer and closer and they start figuring out that they pretty much believe the same things and are, essentially, the same person, joseph goes all starry-eyed for soj. meanwhile, soj the hopeless romantic, is creating conflict by doing the same thing towards someone else. that's plan a. or, plan b, soj goes all lovey-dovey on joseph, who is busy falling for someone else. it could really work either way. anyway, he should be at least twenty, since soj isn't a cougar. and.. that's about it. you can add, subtract, change, or totally ditch everything. i'm cool with whateva, really. c:
